Abstract (EN)
This study deals with high-level athletes who become entrepreneurs and compares the individual and situational factors of performance in sports (or sport capital) to the individual and situational factors of business creation (or entrepreneurial capital). The individual capacities which are typically evoked in studies in the field of sports are explained with the entrepreneur's theories and repositioned in their social context. The sportsman's capacity and, as a whole, the capacity of any individual who has some specific capital to translate this capital into a kind of capital which enables them to create and develop a business are later discussed with the practical implications for entrepreneurial support structures.
