Abstract (EN)
In this article, we will see how, thanks to METAPOST and MPLIB and LuaTeX, we can build an animation illustrating in a mechanical way the Fourier decomposition of a closed contour. This is a translation by the author of the original article in French, published in La Lettre GUTenberg number 41 of the French TeX user group.
