Abstract (EN)Purpose of this paper: To study the key role of the community manager of coworking spacesand to contribute to the understanding of human activity through a boarder approach of workingas human: embodied phenomenology.Approach: 4G-CHAT (Engeström, 2009); embodied phenomenology (Merleau-Ponty, 1942,1945); organizational ethnography (Ybema et al., 2009)Findings: Not just a community manager but a catalyst; multilevel community; legitimationprocess; embodied phenomenology to deepen the 4G-CHAT model on community dimensionLimitations: a unique researcher able to describe the embodied phenomenology experiencedOriginality/value of the paper: to offer an overview of an emergent field of studies, to improvethe phenomenological aspect of the 4G-CHAT (Engeström, 2009) with the embodiedphenomenology of Merleau-Ponty (1942, 1945) and to contribute to managerial implications(two HRM contributions).
