dc.description.abstractenThis paper presents an overview of the impact of trade liberalization on poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa within a general equilibrium framework. In this first section, we briefly introduce the links between trade liberalization and poverty reduction. Section 2 faces the use of General Equilibrium Models to analyze the relation between these two variables. Section 3 shows the main findings from previous literature of CGE models applied to the particular case of Sub-Saharan countries. The paper concludes with some final remarks and policy implications.en
