dc.description.abstractfrL'étude microstructurale de la coquille d'un spécimen de C. magnifica provenant des sites hydrothermaux découverts sur la dorsale du Pacifique Est à 21°N montre un processus ontogénique conduisant d'une structure granulaire à des structures croisées de type variable selon les différentes parties du test. De plus, au cours de la croissance, des modifications répétitives se produisent au sein de chacune des deux couches principales. Le type de structure mis en place parait lié à la vitesse de croissance et aux fluctuations de l'environnement.en

dc.description.abstractenMicrostructural study of the shell of a C. magnifica specimen collected near the thermal vents discovered on the East Pacific Rise at 21°N reveals an ontogenetic process leading from a granulor to various crossed structural types, differing from one region to another. Furthermore, during growth, reperitive structural changes occur within each of the tWO main shell layers. The structural type developed seems to be related to growth rate and environmental fluctuations.en
