Abstract (EN)
HMM models for complex stochastics in electrophysiology; human physiology complexities, a challenging field; AP action in intracellular of the human body; spike and extracellular in deep brain stimulation; APs, as 'spikes', amplitude greater than background noise; HMMs, for AP detection in extracellular recordings; multiple neurons, and factorial HMM application; HMM estimation, on latent sequence/s and their parameters; forward-backward algorithm success in speech processing; HMM flexibility in modelling, and the cost prohibitive factor
